Ny-Lon Fusion Collective

Dear Friends,

NYLON FUSION COLLECTIVE began in 2007. When a small group of us sat in a café on the Lower East Side, sparking ideas about starting a collective, we wanted to bring together artists from New York and London who would endeavor to create a lasting brand of trans-Atlantic theatre. That café is long gone now, but we do believe those conversations we had have solidified and continued to evolve into a more powerful gesture of spirit and growth. Last year’s production of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream left NyLon Fusion Collective excited about the future—the future which is happening today.

We are thrilled to be embarking on an rarely-produced gem with the US premiere of Adrian Mitchell’s translation of Fuente Ovejuna
(Fountain Of Sheep) by Lope de Vega. We are also proud to have our Writers’ Collective reading series in which we are discovering
playwrights and giving a home to new voices within our collective. Go to www.smarttix.com
